Where do I type the commands below?
In the blue PowerShell window — the same one you used to start Confer, or open a new one: open your confer-team folder, click the address bar at the very top, type powershell, and press Enter. To paste into PowerShell, right-click.

Install the sign-in helper — first time only
npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code
Paste it, press Enter, and wait for added … packages. No browser opens here — that's normal.
Did you see yellow allow-scripts warnings? Then the setup isn't finished. Run this one extra line, wait for changed … packages, then go to step 2:
npm install -g --allow-scripts=@anthropic-ai/claude-code

Sign in to Claude — this is the step that opens your browser

Paste it and press Enter. This command is what opens your web browser — the installs in step 1 don't open anything, so sign-in only happens here. In the browser, log in and click Approve. Then a long code starting with sk-ant-oat01- appears back in the PowerShell window.
Browser didn't open? Look in the PowerShell window for a link that starts with https://. Select the whole link, press Enter to copy it, and paste it into your browser's address bar. Sign in and Approve — the code appears back in the window.
